Radiant floor heating loops laid out before the floor pour in a residential new build

Radiant Floor Heating in Vancouver

Design and installation of radiant floor and hydronic heating systems by Stargate Plumbing & Heating LTD — based in Burnaby, serving Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

Hydronic heating, built into the floor

Hydronic radiant floor heating circulates heated water through tubing beneath the finished floor. Our project photos show the installation stage: heating loops positioned throughout a residential new build before the floor pour, and PEX loops secured across a subfloor.

Stargate designs and installs boilers, hydronic systems and radiant floor heating. We size and lay out the system for the space, rather than fitting equipment that is not right for the building.

Planning your installation

The work shown below is from residential new builds, where the heating loops are installed before the floor is finished. Discuss the heating layout early in your construction plans.

For an existing home or renovation, contact us to discuss the floor construction, available space and heating system before deciding on the installation scope. Suitability and pricing need a project-specific assessment.

Indoor floor heating and outdoor driveway snowmelt are separate applications. Our heating services include radiant, boiler, hydronic and baseboard installations.
