Founded in 2010, Stargate began as a small plumbing operation serving Metro Vancouver. Over the years, we've grown into a professional plumbing and heating contractor trusted by families, general contractors, and property managers across the region.

Vahid Shirmo
Owner & Operator
In 2005, Vahid started his apprenticeship in commercial plumbing. After earning his Red Seal license, he founded Stargate Plumbing & Heating with the goal of offering premium, outstanding workmanship across Metro Vancouver.
After 20+ years in the trade, Vahid brings that expertise to every project and personally oversees each one from start to finish — from plumbing and heating installations to bathroom renovations and new construction — building a reputation for honest pricing, clean job sites, and work that meets or exceeds BC code.
